The day of September 13 year 1989 will be always remembered as a black day in the history of Kashmir. The tallest and most prominent Kashmiri Pandit reprasentative and politician Pandit Tika Lal Taploo was fell to militant bullets. The JKLF militants shot him dead as his voice has make them tremble. He was the voice of the millions of Kashmiri Pandits living in the valley and his voice of shut down by the bullets but he will be never forogotten. He was born in 1930 in Habba Kadal and everybody in the constituency call him ‘lala’ or elder brother. He is famous for his arrest in lal chowk while protesting against militants. The police mistreated; a kind of euphemism for the third degree torture they recieve in the lockup along with his commodes Madan Lal Khashu and Shiban Jee Pandita. The voice of Lala ji was heard by masses and was followed by them. This is what terrorist of all these groups feared the most. He holds the power to drive them out and their ideologies. When he was presented in the court room with hand cuffs all the bar council resented. He was honourably released after few months.

When the blood of Lala ji fell this was a start of a grave period; a period in which the Jhelum turned red due to the endless cycle of killings and this was with such impunity that everyone who saw this fiasco of the armed forces were left teary eyed. This was the start of a period where there are endless cries but no answer or listener to them. There was a time when these militants announced on T.V that they have killed so many Kashmiri pandits that they have lost the count. Islamic extremism was on rise and it was spreading like a wild fire throughout the valley. The one man who can stop all this now was in the grave; he is the voice of every family who has been struck by these militants. The most ironic thing is that to this date the murders of Pandit Ji are still at large. Many people believe that Pandit Ji framed many people during his lifetime but through this blog I want to assure everybody that whosoever thinks that it is wrong ,it is a propaganda led by militants and they are all just false accusations and nothing else. The funeral of pandit ji was attended by the biggest face of India like L.K Advani and everybody paid teary eye tribute. This is the truth of killing of this great man and the true voice of kashmiriyat who actually is in favour of peace and against islamization  of Kashmir. This post is dedicated to this great man and I hope I have shed enough light to clear all doubts in the minds of sepratists and whosoever thinks that his endeavours are overrated
